Product Summary:

The USB-BDM is a complete source-level debugger package for Freescale 68HC12 and 68HCS12 microcontroller boards. It provides fast access to all onchip resources thru chips Background Debug mode. This small module connects directly to the standard 6-pin BDM connector on your target development board. No expensive emulator or PC add-on card is required – your PC communicates with the module via a standard USB 1.0 or USB 2.0 port (all cables and software included).

This debugger supports all Freescale HC12 and HCS12 chips up to 24 MHz bus clock and 3 to 5V.

Powerful, easy to use debugging software gives you advanced real-time debugging features on your target platform (Windows 2000/XP compatible). Example macros provide one button erase and programming operations (for production line programming). Symbolic debugging provided for Imagecraft, GNU GCC, COSMIC, CodeWarrior and other C compiler output files including standard ELF output. Assember support for AS12 and MCUASM assemblers.

Optional target clock setting: 2MHz-48MHz Oscillator (1MHz-24MHz Eclock).
